This room houses equipment such as the Electrochemical Anodization Station, which is used for characterization of nanoscale devices.

Electrochemical Anodization Station

This station is used for anodizing materials, specifically thin films, using electrochemical (non-lithographic) methods. The anodizing liquid is cooled by a recirculating chiller to prevent heat generated during anodization. The anodization process is controlled and monitored by a workstation with LabVIEW automation software. This system is used to create nanoparticles using electrochemical nonlithographic techniques.
