Email Karthikeya

Karthikeya is involved here at NNC in the processing of optoelectronic signals from nanotechnology based sensors. He does the image processing work such as the generation of definitive patterns from images obtained from sensor array networks. His area of research is developing optimum image processing algorithms and architectures for biological and optoelectronic signals. He works mostly with tools such as Matlab, C++, SystemC for the software Part, VHDL/Verilog and synthesis tools such as Leonardo Spectrum for the hardware part. He is interested in the development of application specific integrated circuits (ASIC) that incorporates optimized and innovative architectures for high speed signal processing of real time biological and optoelectronic signals compatible With nanotechnology based sensor arrays that can be used In applications varying from medical imaging techniques to the identification of specific materials in various security applications.
