Dr. Halder joined the NNC in the summer of 2006. His research at UNLV concerns the nanofabrication techniques such as the nonlithographic template based fabrication technique which involves the electrochemical annodisation and subsequent etching. He is also working with the Ultra High Vacuum Oxford Nanocluster Deposition System for sputtering and nanocluster deposition. His research interests include:

  • Epitaxy and thin films
  • Semiconductor devices and heterostructure
  • Optoelectronics and Nanoelectronics
  • High Vacuum Systems
